Haven’t been bag hunting for long. Bag hunting skills seemed to have gone haywire. And for the first time in a long time, Darling ain’t nagging me about wanting yet another lovely bag! Probably that’s because he’s drooling at yet another ATAS watch. Me want the watch too but bags are definitely more tempting to me. *hehe* I know I want a Balenciaga but can’t decide on the colour and whether to get a 2005 City or a 2008 Part Time. Spoilt with choices.

The weekends were mad fun! Had crabs with Darling, MIL and RuPing at Khatib. Love crabs! Ninja-ed on Friday night. Wanted to have late-night supper at McDonalds but Darling had class the next day so we had an early night. Wished we could sleep in the next morning but skipping classes is a big no. Woked up early because I’m known for taking my own sweet time to prepare. Had to bug Darling to wake up then. Sleepy head. Such a cutie! Secretly took pictures of him wrapped up in our blankets. *haha*

Had our lunch with BR before taking the bus to school. Waited at the school library, surfing the net for bags before getting chased out 2 hours later–library closing. Thankfully, I had my trusty phone and WIFI to keep me occupied. Lusted over more Balenciaga bags and pouches while tweeting my tweetie babes. We are all hooked onto Twitter. Much fun! Who needs text messaging when you have Twitter?! *wahaha*

Darling’s lecture finally ended after 3 hours and we pondered over what to do next since three-quarters of the day was gone. Me tweeting with Emelia and Darling texting with Joel resulted in us making plans for dinner at Chong Pang for Nasi Lemak and Lan gaming. The boys tickled us mad with their hilarious jokes as we ate. Crazy fun! But I always forget to snap pictures of us! Need to make a mental note to remember the next time!

I’m all for L4D with Darling, Emelia and Joel. Emelia and I make a great in causing panic and destruction; screaming from time to time, asking help from our boys. Hilarious. We are such amateur players that it was simply amusing watching us play. *haha* It’s fun when you don’t take Lan gaming too seriously. Excuses? Maybe. *wahaha* Night ended with us cabbing home.

Darling picked me up from my place on Sunday noon for brunch before taking the bus down to Comcentre to collect his iPhone 3GS. Took countless pictures of it before strolling down to sell it off at FEP. Darling got 1.3K richer in less than an hour! *woohoo* Smart move! Who needs iPhone when you’ve got other better smart phones out there in the market. Was tempted to get the Blackberry Bold but I restrain myself with the thought of being able to get my Balenciaga soon. No Balenciaga bag is worse than having no Blackberry. Anyway, it’s not money wise (IMO) to spend on technological gadgets. When new gadgets are on the market, the value of current ones drop drastically. Unlike bags. They love you and make you look and feel good. *wahaha* Do I sound like Becky Bloomwood? *haha*

Anyway, we got my favourite milk tea from Grafitti Cafe before we met up with Darling’s parents at ION. I know I’m lactose intolerant but i just can’t resist bubble teas. That’s the price I pay for a cup of sugary goodness. ION is no fantastic! Actually, it’s mega disappointing! No Balenciaga! They should bring in Balenciaga! Singapore needs Balenciaga! And there isn’t H&M either. Whatever ION has, Takashimaya has it years ago. MIL bought a Swarovski necklace she’s been eyeing at for a while. Darling and I spent 15minutes queuing up for some Peking duck wraps and roast pork slices which turned out to be rubbish! Worst I have eaten. Wasted our time queuing up for it and letting the woman behind me keep molesting my butt with her lousy bag. ToriQ chicken meatballs were the saver.

Stopped by Lucky Plaza to get my Marc Jacobs necklace gold plated. Would never get any jewellery that’s gold plated anymore. It tarnishes and breaks my heart if that particular piece meant something to me. Darling gave me the MJ I Love You necklace so it’s important that it gets restored. But the shop did a lousy job! *grr* Need to look for a better place to do the restoration. Meanwhile, I found some pretty gold-filled disc necklace on the net. Wanted the Jennifer Meyer ones but it would set me back by 2k a pop. Which would be madness considering I could have gotten my Cartier engagement ring. *haha* Did my research. Gold-filled is the second best to pure gold and doesn’t tarnishes. All silver does so silver is out. Unless is white gold.

Decided to head to Balestier for fish steamboat and crabs. Love the fish steamboat there! *yum* Cabbed down there in less than 10 minutes. I’m always thrilled to be in Balestier because of the lightings. It’s like Christmas all year rund in Balestier. *haha* Food was glorious! If I can have it my way, I want Balestier fish steamboat every Sunday. We should bring our own golden mushrooms too. Mad over golden mushrooms. *haha* MIL kept making fun of FIL and talking to me. Enjoyed every moment of it. Darling thinks MIL adores me. *woohoo* I’m a great DIL, aren’t I? *hehe*

Cabbed back to Darling’s place to chill before going home. Darling tried on his navy uniform needed for Tuesday. Thought he looked really sexy in his uniform. So smart looking though he kept perspiring non-stop. *haha* My cutie. And since it was already too late to take the public transport home, I stayed awhile longer with Darling looking at luxury watches online. It’s still too early to watch-shop for our third anniversary but BB wants to add new watches to his collection.

Coming this weekends, Branchel needs to get out into the streets to do some shopping. Online shopping is great but nothing beats running fingers through racks of silk and chiffons, and caressing leather and canvas bags. Miss our Changi Airport trips too. So much to do with BB, so little time.

On a separate note, we had home-movie night on Wednesday. Went mad while ordering at McDonalds. Got a double fish fillet buger meal and a McSpicy burger each. Who spends almost 30 bucks on McDonalds? *haha* Theoratically, with all these mad feasting, I should get fat right? But I don’t know where all the food I consumed gone to. Stinks! I’m not bulimic, nor am I anaeroxic. It has to be the 3-times stomach flu I caught in the past 3 years. It probably wreaked my weight-gaining cells. *haha* If I get it for the fourth time, I’ll probably become skeletal. *haha* Snuggled with Darling on the couch and watched Hangover. It’s alright I supposed. Funny at some parts and lame at the rest. Need Bruno to come to theatres soon!

homemovie

I miss my Darling and thank goodness I’m seeing him tomorrow evening later for porridge dinner at Bukit Timah. *yay!* Baby, you miss me? *hehe*

It’s mad when SIM decides to arranges classes early in the morning at 8.30am. It’s even crazier when they scheduled another 3-hour class in the afternoon. Basically, the whole time the sun was up on Saturday, I was having lessons. Darling came earlier to school to accompany me for lunch before rushing off to his lecture.

The reason I was so frustrated and fuming the past week had got to do with the ridiculously last minute arrangement for a photo shoot. I’m not in favour of last minute arrangements and being forced to scrape my own plans. So naturally, I was annoyed. Pissed. Managed to squeeze in time for the photoshoot before rushing off for the planned triple date with Darling’s colleagues and their girlfriends–Emelia and Joel, Zombie and Pan Qing. Got cramped at the back of the car as usual since I’m the skinniest of them all. *bleah* Started snapping pictures of myself, analysing which angle suits me best. *hahaha* My grandmothers came along for the photoshoot.

Slide4

Slide3

Honestly, I wasn’t so keen on the idea of a triple date; reasoning being I’m not comfortable interacting with strangers. Am socially awkward. *haha* But as the date draws closer, I began to look forward to it. Made myself promise that I would be sociable that night. It was better than I had expected. Fun and laughter. I turned up late for dinner at TCC due to the money-wasting photoshoot. Despite Darling taking my orders over the phone 15 minutes earlier, the food failed to arrive 30 minutes after I had reached. We were all dead famished! It took multiple complaints and me glaring at the waiter before our food arrived.

What disappointment. Portion was small. Absolutely not worth the price they were charging. Would rather have my favourite fares at hawker centres. The waiter came to inform us about some cake promotion going on. I don’t know what got into me but I retorted asking if it will take another hour for them to serve the cakes if we ordered them. Emelia and I broke into series of laughter almost immediately. Anyway, we headed off to the famous tau huey shop near Paradiz to fill up our half-empty stomachs. Like girls who eat, not starve. What’s the fun in starving yourself?

triple date

triple date 2

Don’t have good pictures of them because they are plain shy. *hahaha* No one helped Branchel took picture so… Anyway, more pictures of them and us the next time we hang out again.

Caught the movie Haunting in Connecticut. Got couple seats at the last row. Think Emelia hates horror films because she and Joel kept fidgetting around. *haha* Not a bad movie I thought. Cabbed home with Darling at the end of the day. Had a really good night. Darling and Joel are a good mix. No wonder they are besties at work. We should hang out again soon. *haha* Major fun!

<btw, more pictures of the malaysia trip will be up either on the weekends or next week when i get them from darling. ciao>

<timeline backwards again because BB hasn’t email me the pictures for last Saturday night yet *boo*>

*as i’m updating, i’m freaking hungry right now!*

Apologies for the lack of updates. Trying to make it a point to update weekly. Been mad busy lately. It’s essential I mention this before starting on the past week’s events. Afternoon lectures and night tutorings as usual. Am upset about SIM’s arrangement for lectures this semester. Basically, it suck. The usual 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm time slots are now non-existent. They’ve been registering a-hell-lots-of students for the past year and the entire campus is super flooded with people. Got the screwed up time slots of 3.15pm to 6.15pm. How the hell am I supposed to squeeze in my Serangoon tutoring and the rest of my 3 tutorings? Travelling down to Serangoon takes at least 1.5 hours. Madness. Frustrated. Darling even has lectures on Saturday afternoon; all the way till 6.30pm. WTF?! Rantings aside, texting Darling the entire day made my Business Finance class less stressful. Formulae make me baff. Dizzy. Trying to keep my calm as I digested Daniel Tan’s ramblings about amortised loans, annuities and perpetuities. Yuck! I want to perform a miracle by scoring a Distinction for this eeky module. So I can’t give up just yet. Going to waste money on a calculator I probably won’t use again after this module. But heck. If it helps me score a Distinction, I’m all for it.

I need to stop ranting and get down to my point here. I was major pissed when JiaYi needed to switch her Monday tutorings to a new time slot. All my tutees have specific dates and time slots. It’s back-to-back so changing one would meant the rest would be affected. Hate that. After extending her lesson an additional 15 minutes, I had to stand watching for another 15 minutes while she and her aunt argue about changing it to Saturday morning (my only available slot left). Tutees cheat my money. Just Monday, a tutee’s parent insisted his son show me his school homework just as I was about to leave. Thank goodness  my tutee refused. I would have slaughtered the mother. I’m cranky when I’m hungry and late for my dinner date with Darling. Alright, back to JiaYi’s case. By the time I left her house, it was half an hour way pass the supposed dismissal. Was texting BB as I walked out of the lift. And there he was. Grinning at me. OMFG! My Sweetie Bear Bear surprised me by showing up at the void deck of JiaYi’s house! So taken aback to see him there. Hadn’t plan to meet him since I had night tutorings every day. Darling said I looked awkward when I saw him. Must have been the hair being tied up in a messy ponytail. I was shocked beyond words. Walked over to BB and he planted a uber super duper smooch on my lips before I buried my head into his chest, hugging him tight. Didn’t want to let go because it felt so right. Been longing to hug my honey bear for so long. And after the shit day yesterday, it was all I wanted and needed. My knight in shining armour. *woohoo* Major dreaminess! BB’s SO SWEET can! Only he will do such things. *haha* Overwhelmed still. Took me straight to lovey dovey land. *awwwww*

It was a hectic week for me last week, not to mention this week as well. Bleak. Loaded with tutoring assignments on top of lectures to attend. Couldn’t even squeeze out some time to go for dinner with My Love. Upsetting. Am really apologetic towards Darling for my cramped up schedule. Not seeing my Lover Boy makes me depressed. My sole source of genuine happiness is BB. He’s my favourite person in the whole wide world. My motivation. No one can steal BB away from me. I’m the best lifetime partner for BB. That’s me being arrogant but I don’t give a damn. If anyone tries to pull a stunt in hopes of snatching Darling away from me, I’ll make her life a living hell. I would! So back off. No one’s my match! *wahahahaha*

Branchel just celebrated our 27th Month Anniversary on Monday. Despite being choked up with work and school, BB, being the darling sweetie he is, travelled all the way down to my estate to date me for dinner. I practically ran all the way from my tutee’s place to WCPlaza just cause I didn’t want to be another minute away from my Sweetie Bear Bear. It makes me so happy to be able to hold the hands of Darling; swinging our linked hands like a little girl. He’s my bundle of joy! We ended up steamboating at a restaurant. It was fun to say the least. Simple fare. The food was fresh and well-marinated. We thought the waitress was far to polite and ‘motherly’. She kept making sure we cook our food well and that the flame was strong. She even took to helping BB cook his meat. *wahahaha* Darling was slightly irritated by her gestures. I mean, steamboating wouldn’t be steamboating if you weren’t steamboating yourself. Get it? *haha* Anyway, it was loads of fun. Laughed and chatted over food. It’s been long since it’s just the two of us. Really miss those days where we could just laze at home all day. Lately, it has been work and school. Occupied and stressed out. I love celebrating our monthly anniversaries. All the twentieth of each month have been specially marked and decorated in my planner. Makes me look forward to it always. *haha* We have indeed come so far.

Sunday was the planned trip to Malaysia with Darling, SBR his parents and Ah Bo. His uncle and aunt drove us up to Malaysia. With a mere 1.5hours of sleep the night before, I fall out of bed at 5am in the morning to cab down to Darling’s place. Had to run all the way to Kent Ridge bus terminal because there were practically no cabs available at my area. Morning exercise on an empty stomach ain’t cool. Spent 15 minutes trying to get a cab at 6.15am. Finally one screeched to a halt a feet away from me, complete with smoke fuming out from the tyres. So early morning, so dramatic. Thank goodness the driver got me to my destination in a record time of 20 minutes. Fare was an all time low of $15. Amazing! I don’t know how the driver did it. *hahaha* Anyway, I was way early as usual. Had actually thought I was going to be late. But I wasn’t. Never good to show up late when meeting up with the in-laws. Cabbing is always a safe bet. *haha* The extra money spent is well worth for maintaining a good impression. *wahahaha*

So I started snapping away with my Nikon but the pictures turned out … Let’s just say we looked burnt from an eventful late-night triple date on Saturday. So, no pictures from that morning. I don’t do Photoshop to any of my pictures so I’d rather not scare any of my readers with those morning shots. MIL was super sweet by giving me some pastry for breakfast because BB told her I get gastric pains when I don’t eat before sleeping. Need my suppers and breakfasts. Must! I’m a glutton, remember? *haha* She’s so nice to me can! So nice! Sometimes, I think she’s nicer to me than my mum. *hahaha* Darling says she adores me. *yay!* Woke Su Ba Ru up and made him come to Malaysia with us. *hehe* Left the house around 7.30am. Malaysia, here we come! I haven’t been there in 10 years. So whatever I saw on the way was intriguing. *wahaha* I’m not a mountain tortoise okay! I just haven’t been to neighbouring countries for a very long time. I had to sit at the back row of the 8-seater car so these are all the pictures I could get from my angle.

Slide5

I really did snap anything I could see from the back. *wahahaha* When at the Singapore customs, I actually made a tweeze sign at the female custom officer when she was matching my face to the picture on my passport. I look dated there. A really sad picture of me. Misrepresentation. *haha* Think I was super exhilarated about the trip. 1st overseas trip with Darling. Major event. Though just across the causeway but it’s better than none. I’m my parents’ caged bird. *boo* Darling thinks they are afraid I might run away. I just might. *hahaha* Made a few stops for breakfast and more breakfast, some supermarketing at the local Giant Supermarket, shopping for some p***ted DVDs (it’s a common Singaporean trait), stopping by a pastry shop before having lunch at this decent restaurant with good Chinese cuisine. Su Ba Ru immediately tested the restaurant for Wifi connection. And TADA! Both of us logged on instantly and started tweeting. *wahahaha* Realised I’ve gotten quite a lot of people onto Twitter. *haha* I’m not obsessed. Am trying to cut down on tweeting so very often. BB doesn’t like it. *hahaha*

We left Malaysia soon after lunch. Wished we had stayed on longer. Wanted to eat durians by the roads of Malaysia. It feels different okay. Eating durians in Singapore and eating durians in Malaysia are different. *haha* Didn’t catch a movie at their cheapo theatres like we planned too. Actually, BB and I were to burnt from the night before. Darling was still ill and my signus had decided to pay a visit. We both needed a rest. Sleep.

Dropped by Darling’s aunt’s place to pass them some goodies from Malaysia before BB and I cabbed to Yishun to get movie tickets for Harry Potter and the Half-blooded Prince. Cabbed back and dropped ‘dead’ in our fortress. Was awoken rudely by Darling. Whilst being half awake, I think I remembered Darling and MIL laughing at me looking sleepy and groggy. I was really crazy tired! *wahahaha* Movie was good. Had inconsiderate people sitting around us so BB and I had free narration of the movie. Sarcasm. Then, the man sitting beside me decided to abracadebra into a loudspeaker. Kept talking non-stop despite my efforts to shut him up with snide remarks. Idiot! Wished I had threw ice at him. Went for a late night dinner before MIL stuffed money into my bag, forcing me to take cab home. See, told you she’s super motherly towards me. FIL, MIL and BB ganged up on me. So funny. Whatever I said, they retorted with something smart. *wahaha* Dropped dead when I go home. Drained. But was extremely happy about my lovely weekends.

Alrightey, need to pause with this entry since pictures for Saturday night aren’t compiled yet. (darling, do you get the hint?) *haha* Hopefully, it will be up by tomorrow. It’s late. I need sleep. So ciao.

<doing the timeline backwards this time round>

I don’t think we both contracted H1N1. Was probably the vigorious 2-hour tennis game we had on Sunday afternoon. I’m bad at tennis. Yet Darling enjoyed tennis so much I’m obliged to master it for our next game. And I totally understand the loud grunts Maria Sharapova makes during her games. Tennis requires strength. One would have thought my training in volleyball would have given me enough preparation. But tennis needs hell more strength and power. Should just stick to badminton. I think it’s way more fun but BB just wants more tennis sessions. *bleahx*

Slide7

Darling took a dip in the pool after our tennis game while I had up for a quick shower. Wanted to join BB in the pool but I think I misplaced my bikini and am not ready to dip my precious locks into the chlorinated waters. I’ve seen what swimming does to my hair and I know damn well I don’t want hay inspired hair again. *haha* Took me countless deep conditioning and products to revive my hair years ago when I was into twice swimming weekly. Not going to repeat that. My hair is part of my identity. Just not ready to ruin it. *hahaha*

Had a late lunch of pork chop. Need to remember to snap a picture of our favourite pork chop. Always forgetting to do so. Our bodies had started to ache. Our body temperatures were rising. BB was coughing and I was sneezing. We thought we had a case of H1N1. Good thing it was a false alarm. Cabbed back to BB’s place where we slept till MIL returned with dinner. Had fake shark’s fin soup from the pasar malam for dinner and bubble tea. For those who know me well would know I don’t eat shark’s fin. Sharks are endangered marine life. And I don’t want to contribute to endangering this species. I love soups so the starchy fake shark’s fin soup was yummy. Didn’t had much appetite. Think I was totally drained from tennis to eat much.

Spent the rest of the night with boring TV shows. Helped BB sew the buttons on his Ralph Lauren shirt. He tweeted that I was of wife material. Just cause I could sew. *wahahaha* MIL was impressed I do my own ironing at home. The last time Mum ever ironed for me was when I was still in kindergarten. Yes, it’s that long ago. History.

Darling is getting me a Gucci shoulder tote for school. Can hardly wait to finally own it. Ain’t the one I was intending to get but still as yummy! Thanks Darling!! You are the sweetest. Always trying various ways to cheer me up when I’m down and out. The passed 2 weeks haven’t been bright. But whenever I’m with you, you make me smile and laugh. You brought me for desert dates knowing it gives me the kick to savour sweet, sinful stuff. You buy me macaroons knowing I’m addicted to it. I love you baby. *kiss kiss* Your love makes me feel alive. It makes me your pistachio. *hehe*

Slide2

That was my last straw. Received an email from a lecture-mate from previous lectures asking if I did a particular module and if I could email her my HD project. She ended with “Miss seeing you around”. Revolting! I could almost baff! We aren’t chummy, nor do we talk outside of class. We don’t exchange emails (besides her asking me for project samples) or text messages. Let me get this straight, I am not for anyone to make use of. I helped you because you were nice and I was being nice. Do not take advantage of my kindness. Am sick of helping people but when I need a favour, they ignore me or give me rubbish excuses. F them all! I sound harsh here but am really sick of all the nonsense around me. For the passed 6 months, people have been doing that to me. One after another. So F them all. Read Amanda’s (a friend I made on LJ) recent post and a statement she made on not being a perfect friend seems to apply to me too. I might not always meet up with friends for tea and shopping, but when they need me, I’m there. Available to listen to their woes and give them advice they need. I’m not fake. Won’t try being chummy with people I don’t like. I only have genuine friendships to offer. I don’t long for many friends, just a few sincere ones will do.

Saturday began early with me travelling down to Yishun to meet the Su brothers for BK breakfast. Have only good things to rave about the king burger. *woohoo* But MCD still holds the crown for the best hashbrowns. *yum yum* I actually love waking up early for a good breakfast. It starts your day well. And recently, I made it a point to bring along my Nikon to snaps picture of our dates.

Slide4

I need help on mascaras. I know, I’m like the Queen of Mascaras, why do I need help. Well, I’m in a dilemma on whether to stick to high-end brands or switch to drugstore ones. Am using Helena Rubinstein Lash Queen Mascara in Feline Blacks. It’s really good though the pricest at $50 a pop. Should I switch back to the Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effect Faux Cils ($90+ for a twin pack at DFS). They were given to me by Darling for Christmas. They were lovely to use; giving off a fragrant upon application. Both give amazing results but my usage of mascaras are like lipstick usage to women. One will last me at most 2 months and thus the comtemplation of trying out drugstore ones. But are they worth trying?  Should I try out mascaras from Chanel and Dior? Tweet me about this alright? Urgent because my HB mascara is running low. Girls have been asking me about my eyeliner. Received questions how come it’s like the blackest of blacks. Want to know which one I’m using, ask me. It’s freaking cheap and last really long.

Anyway, back to Saturday. Accompanied MIL for lunch back at Khatib. She’s always really sweet to me. To think that she’s actually nicer to me than my mum. The irony in it. I think we bonded through talking about luxury goods. She always asks me to source good deals for her. *haha*

Headed back to BB’s place, waited for SBR to bathe and get ready before meeting up with his girlfriend at the train station. Headed to town with the intention to get Darling’s iPhone 3GS. But OMFG! The queue was madness! Estimated waiting time was 6 hours. Fortunately for BB, he had the Singtel invitation and could make reservations online. So we left for FEP cause SBR wanted to sell off his Samsung mobile phone. Then, had free bubble tea and friend wantons at Graffiti Cafe. BB’s aunt manages that place hence the free food.

We then cabbed down to SGH because SBR’s foot swell up due in camp. Darling and I waited at the food court for the 2some. Cabbed back town and ended up at DFS. Checked out the Gucci bag I wanted and the one BB’s getting me. Adore both. But since BB’s getting me a Gucci, I should think twice about getting another for myself. Spotted this newest edition Men wallet at Gucci. It’s gorgeous in a shade of dark grey, complete with the waterproof fabric Gucci’s been using recently. Wanted to get BB that for Christmas. But don’t think he’s willing to wait that long. He always gets what he wants at the quickest pace. It’s only me that he took 4 years to win. That’s quoted from him. Didn’t make that up.

RuPing left us soon after and BB suggested we catch a movie. And when I say there’s no other theatres quite like the ones at The Cathay, I mean it. Watched Obsessed at Shaw Lido and let’s just say the seats felt like we tied bamboo sticks to our backs. Horrid. The movie was alright. Ali Larter was pretty hot. We wonder why she always chooses lousy scripts. No break through at all.

Settled at The Big O at Wheelock for a late night dinner. Shared a main course, a roasted-chicken-and-duck salad and a chocolate truffle cake desert with rum and raisin ice-cream. No salad can beat Coffee Club’s duck confit salad. It’s the best! The main course of chicken meat rolled in bacon strips were alright but way too pricey for a simple dish. Desert was sinfully good. I love deserts. The rum and raisin ice-cream was the best I’ve ever tasted. The taste of rum was strong, not weak like most. The truffle cake was so smooth it melted as soon as it rested in my mouth. Heavenly. Naming the desert Aphrodisiac completely nailed it.

Slide6

Headed home separately soon after. *sad*

Visited Page One at VivoCity on Friday. Had a mad time snapping pictures with my E63, hence the bad resolution of photos. *haha*

Slide3

Had a really good weekend despite us falling ill soon after the game of tennis. I’ve bounced back after gulping down litres of water. Darling’s still on a 2-day medical leave. *whoopee!* No work for him till Wednesday. Meeting my loverboy for breakfast tomorrow. Missing him so much. Have to squeeze time in to date him since I’m on a money making mission this week. Pay cheques are coming in soon and I can hardly wait. Hate being broke. Haven’t been shopping and feasting in the longest time. The weight I gained during the holidays seemed to have gone missing now. My fats are gone. Back to my skinny self. Hate it. I want some meat.

And before I end, here’s the Nasi Lemak picture I forgot to upload the other time round. See how humongous the chicken drumsticks look. There are the best part of the Nasi Lemak! Glorious meat! I’m a glutton.

 Till then.

Had one of the most fun Sundays ever. Will come to that after depicting what happened on Saturday. Woke up early and did some errands with BB. Reached Rail Mall way earlier than planned. Mistook the meeting time to be 15 minutes earlier and Darling was around 15 minutes late. So I waited at the bus stop for 30 minutes before Mr Handsome turned up. Did our errands and had lunch in school before taking a bus down to The Cathay to collect the tickets for Ice Age 3 in 3D which I had made bookings for days ago. *woohoo* Branchel’s first 3D movie! Darling bought me Funshine! It’s the sunny yellow carebear. So adorable and squeezable. May all our moments together be fun and cheery always.

We made our way to The Peranakan Museum at Armenian Street for a little museum trip. Remember to ask for student rates. It’s half the price of adult tickets. It was fun. We were obssessed with collecting the emboss prints of various sections of the exhibition; competing on who makes better emboss prints. Naturally, Darling being the stronger one, made clearer emboss prints. I had to press down the handle of the machine by jumping about, putting weight on it since I lacked the strength. It was hilarious. Took pictures. But I think the exhibitions paled in comparison to SAM and ACM. I think I kind of want to go back to ACM. Was my favourite. *haha* Darling, what do you think? *smiles*

Ice Age 3 was fun and amusing. The 3D effects were sort of overated I think. The 3D glasses weren’t fitting and my lashes kept brushing against the lens. Had to hold my glasses away from my lashes throughout the movie. We should try the 4D ones at the Omni Theatre the next time. But still, it was great that we tried it out.

Had dinner plans with Bingru and Huiping at Sunset Way. Ate at this steamboat buffet place which in my opinion, was overcharged. Won’t be going back there again. Wanted to go LAN gaming but couldn’t find any where close with decent gaming shops. It was late so I headed home. The 3 of them headed back to Yishun for some late night gaming.

Badminton was arranged at Khatib sports complex at 11am the next morning. And since I had stayed up waiting for BB the night before, sleep was a pathetic 4 hour. Woke up early and made sugar toast for breakfast before taking the public transport down to BB’s house. I probably slept through half the journey there. Early mornings aren’t my thing.

Reached 15 minutes earlier than planned. The 3 of them had just woke up so I waited with Funshine for them to be ready.

Got some finger food before walking to the sports complex. It was completely booked for practice and so we walked back to the community centre, which was fully booked as well. Met Huiping at the Town council but the court wasn’t opened yet. Settled down at McDonalds for a mini lunch as it started raining. There was some party going on and for the first time in 20 years, Ronald McDonalds appeared. *wahahaha* I don’t see why children like clowns. They are probably one of the scarier characters but kids always cheer at the sight of the man with red curly hair and big fat red lips. Darling hates clowns. Bingru hates clowns. Huiping and I don’t find them entertaining. *eeks*

Anyway, the Town Council courts were fully booked too. So we settled with the outdoor courts near the void decks of BB’s place. Good thing it had stop raining. BB set up the net while the 3 of us started fooling around and taking pictures. Branchel versus RuPing. It was such fun! Though we weren’t good players, I had so much fun! Seriously can’t wait for the next badminton game! Want to do this at least fortnightly. It’s really good exercise too. *woohoo*

It started drizzling again so we ran home. Had a nice cool shower before BB and I put the DVD on and watched Confessions of a Shopaholic. Didn’t managed to catch it when it was out in theatres due to examinations. So my sweet sweet baby bought the DVD for me last week. I’m a fan of Sophie Kinsella’s books. I buy them all. So naturally, I enjoyed the movie. The book was so much better though. I made my Mummy a fan of the shopaholic series as well. *haha*

Took an hour nap under the soft quilts. Such a lovely cool rainy afternoon for a nap. Snuggled into Darling’s arms and fell asleep in no time.

Woke up and the 4 of us decided to head down to Chong Pang for Nasi Lemak and LAN gaming though it was still raining. Chong Pang’s Nasi Lemak is the best! *woohoo* The second time I having it and I’m hooked. *haha* After having filled our stomachs, we walked to the LAN gaming shop nearby. OMG! I’m now officially a member of a gaming shop. What a shocker. Never once stepped into a gaming facility. Another 1st-time with Darling. I’m a convert. Totally hooked onto LAN gaming. Despite having bad coordination, I enjoyed the few games of L4D (Land 4 Dead). I was screaming for help everytime my character was almost dying. So dramatic. *wahaha* Good thing Bingru had cheat codes for the game. It made it easier. *haha* Played some fish aquarium game after my character died twice. Oh gosh! Another freaking entertaining game. *wahahaha* Spent 3 hours there. I’m becoming a 宅女. *wahahaha*

Had one of the most fantabulous weekends. So much activities going on. Must do it again soon! Think BB and I are having a game of tennis with his cousins this coming Saturday. Hope I don’t embarrass myself. *haha* Can’t wait to see my loverboy tomorrow after tutoring! Missing him tonnes!

It doesn’t matter what other people think, all I want is BB. And if what other people think is important, then there’s nothing to worry because all impressions you have made were good. You helped my Mum with the shop. You visited Granny so many times till she kept asking about you whenever I there and you’re not. You came for reunion dinner. You met my Waipo and even talked to her. There’s the angbao joke. The sitting-on-the-floor joke. What’s there to worry? What’s there to compare?! You have already triumph over the rest. You are the King of my heart. Doesn’t matter who else is involve. It’s you I want. Whether they like it or not, you are going to be their son-in-law. So, don’t compare. No one can be compared to you. Stop comparing. You are the best! Believe me for once! I always end up analysing correctly how they feel. Believe me.

Left for home early to start packing for the sleepover at Darling’s. And of course Cinderella had to ask for permission to spend the night out. Darling said I needed to ask Dad ”sign my parental consent form”. *haha* And to my surprise Dad needed no persuasion. I could hardly believe my ears when all he said was to take care of myself. *woohoo* *whoopee!* Officially the 1st legalised sleepover at BB’s. I could hardly contain my exhilaration. *haha*Anyway, I didn’t need much packing since my toiletries were already at Our Fortress. Just needed my cosmetic pouch and a change of clothes and I was ready for the big day. Chatted on the phone till the wee hours with Darling, resulting in my oversleeping for more than 2 hours. *bleah* Bummer. Scrambled out of bed and made a mad rush down to BB’s. Had  Teochew styled porridge, watched part of a C-list TV show, Twittered alittle, got my bubble tea and took the bus to Tampines. I’m addicted to bubble tea. West Coast Plaza has the best bubble tea with Bishan coming in at a close second. WCPlaza’s costs just a mere $1! Can you believe it? No one sells bubble tea at $1 anymore! My favourite. *haha*

Finally fulfilled our long discussed date to Tampines One. The mall is indeed huge with many shops to boot. But malls without Bakerzin are rather useless to me. I’m addicted to their macaroons and BB just spoils me with them always. BB’s the best! He knows exactly what I love. Strolled around for abit and snacked at good old McDonalds before taking the train to Pasir Ris in the evening. And as we were figuring out which way to head to, a student came up to Darling asking for donation. (Flag day) Darling obliged and dropped some shillings into her donation bag and the student pass him a sticker, saying, “Here’s a sticker for you and another for your wife.” *wahahaha* I didn’t catch what she said as I was busy witnessing a passerby wearing practically her nightie out on the streets. So I was puzzled when Darling mumbered something, started blushing pink and dragged me away. *wahahaha* So freaking funny! Laughed my head off when Darling told me what the student said. Another incident of us having 夫妻象. Darling then took the picture of the sticker to remind him of this incident.

We walked for quite abit before reaching the BBQ pit. Darling brought me on a trail through trees, shrubs and bushes–potential hidding places for butterflies, moths and mozzies. It reminded me all over again why I simply detest the nature. It made me itchy all over just by walking past plants. It goes without saying that I too detest flowers of any sort. No bouquets please. But Darling, I’ll accept that box of pralines anytime. *wahahahaha* That’s a joke. Some time ago, Mummy asked me if Darling ever got me a box of pralines. And it has since stuck with Darling till now. Macaroons triumphs pralines anytime. *hehe* I want a fridge full of macaroons! Alright, I side-tracked.
Anyway, everyone seemed to have reached the BBQ gathering long before us. Wished Huiping was there for it too. Gathering with the maternal side of the Su family makes me nervous no matter how used to it I am. Didn’t ate much since my cough developed that night. But the night by the sea was so peaceful. Played fire with Darling’s cousins. Sat alone watching planes landing. Placed my legs on Darling’s lap as we gazed at the stars. Time just passed by.

I need to start to make the effort in bringing my Nikon camera out on dates. My mobile phone really does take lousy grainy pictures. Pardon me for the low resolution images. These were all I had of the night. We left around 10-ish in Shermaine’s car.

I was starting to get fidgety as midnight draws near. It’s a big thing for Cinderella. *hahaha* The cousins decided on KTV night and we roamed multiple places in search of one that operates till the next morning. After sourcing for 2 places, we finally settled at Party World at International Building. It’s my first time at Party World. Alright, laugh at me all you want but I don’t frequent places like this. I’m a house rat. And if I do go out, I’m a shopaholic, bookworm or glutton. Not a singer. Not a dancer. Not a clubber. Branchel dates revolve around Our Fortress, places with good food, movie nights, bookstores, high-end boutiques and strolls along streets and corners yet to be explored. Sounds boring but I always enjoy my time with BB. Never bored with him. Darling keeps me alive, happy and satisfied.

I’ve got a fear of public speaking. So singing in front of half-strangers are a no-no to me. I think the only person who have heard me sing, if you exclude me screeching when I was a toddler, is Darling. I don’t and will never sing to anyone else. Shy. Don’t like. Don’t ask me why. It’s just the way it is. Don’t force me. I will cry. *hahaha* So I sat around taking pictures and videos of Darling singing. There wasn’t any wireless access so Twittering wasn’t an option. Darling has a really good voice. Loves it when he starts crooning love songs to me. So nice. Especially ones by this oldie Chinese singer Alex Du. So nice! Sing to me Baby. I think I recognise more Chinese oldies than the  current Chinese pop. All thanks to Dad’s tuning in to 95.8FM everytime I’m in his car. *hahaha*

They sang through the night. Left at 5am in the morning. I was almost knocking out on the couches. My mascara was smudging and I longed snuggle in bed and fall asleep in Darling’s embrace. Left Party World but Darling’s cousin Ren Bing made us and Shermaine accompany him for breakfast at McDonalds. *faint* I wanted to just pass out. Good thing we started laughing about the movie Drag Me To Hell. Don’t get me started about it again. Such a comedy. Maggots. *wahahaha* So the 3 of us watched him polished off a Big Breakfast before Shermaine drove us home. When we finally hit the pillows, it was 7am and the sun was starting to shine through the curtains. I’ve never stayed up till that late/early. Even when I was mugging for my examinations, 6am was the latest/earliest I would stay up to. That night/day was a memorable one. First legalised sleepover at BB’s. First late-night pass. First KTV session. First 7am bedtime. First time being called Darling’s wife by a stranger. Slept all the way through the morning and afternoon. Only forced ourselves out of bed because MIL was coming home and was going to drag us both out for dinner. Woke up at 4pm. And it was the first time I managed to bathe, moisturise and did my make-up in an hour! I never managed to do so before. Always enjoy taking my own sweet time washing my hair, coating my lashes with noir mascara and moisturing my skin. I was impressed and so was Darling.

With empty stomachs, we tagged along with MIL and Darling’s other 2 aunts to Bugis. Shermaine droved us there. The elders spent more than an hour looking at watches in a single shop. I almost wanted to cry because I was so freaking hungry. I’m grouchy if I’m hungry. I need food. I need snacks. I cannot be left starving. But I kept my silence because it’s MIL and the aunts I’m dealing with. Lasting good impression is vital!

Drove down to somewhere near Balestier for fish head steamboat. I love fish head steamboat! In my opinion, the one at Outram is still the best. They serve the yummiest deep fried yam cake. *OMG* I’m hungry just by thinking of it. First meal of the day at 8-ish. BB and I almost died of hunger. Good thing my gastric pains were under control. MIL and the aunts chatted away into the night. The 3 of us just sat there gapping at them. Many a time, Shermaine wanted to abandon them. *wahahaha*

When the night ended, Shermaine drove me home. So sweet of her! She ’s being driving us everywhere for the past 2 days without any complaints. So nice. I was beaten by the time I got home.

Can never forget Cinderella’s first night pass. Really enjoyed myself. Love you BB. *smooches and huggies* I’m sure there will be many more to come. And I can hardly wait. *giggles*

<edited due to photobucket giving me picture troubles>
I’m going to start off the post with pictures galore from ages back. Some taken with my Nikon, some with the LG mobile phone and some with my present Nokia mobile phone. Really back dated but I thought I’d share them. Rather pretty pictures actually. Especially those taken at Sushi Tei–one of Branchel’s favourite restaurants that serve decent Japanese cuisine.

The past week was intense. Woke up early on Tuesday for morning tutorings near my place before practically camping at Cold Storage for the next hour supermarketing for ingredients. Left for Popular bookstore in search of materials for the handmade card. My arms and legs  turned into a shade of purple and I almost froze in the cold shopping mall after 2.5 hours of roaming and choosing. Started making th card. Then picked BB up from work and brought him to have Teochew porridge at Maxwell. Pre-birthday treat. It’s one of our favourite place to eat. But I swear I detest the seats! They are freaking filthy!! My thighs merely touched the bottom of the table for less than half a split second and rashes broke out within the next 15 minutes! Ridiculous! It’s that grotesque! It makes me think twice about going back for the porridge. Bukit Timah has a store with good Teochew porridge in a much cleaner and cooler environment. Continued with the card making late into the night till my eyelids could no longer keep open.

Spent the rest of the Wednesday afternoon baking and finishing up the card. Then rushed off to BB’s place with my late-night pass for his surprise. *smiles*
I had to make do with that little time I had alone with Darling on his birthday and did a little surprise stunt by appearing before him 30 minutes the clock struck 12. The initial plan was a surprise home-cooked dinner on the day of his birthday but MIL was so persistent in spending the night with BB. Was ultra disappointed, upset, not to mention frustrated when I knew Plan A couldn’t work out. So I had to revert to Plan B. It was done in hush hush manner. And it indeed took Darling by surprised when I jumped in front of him with a box of cupcakes and cookies I baked and home made popped-up card while he was paying bills. The look on his face was classic. Got the rare late-night pass from Mum just so I could count-down to Darling’s birthday with him. Physically. Being Cinderella, I never had the chance to do so before. Think parents are becoming more trusting in letting me hang out later than my curfew when I’m with Darling. Will talk more about that soon. Pictures of my box of baked treats and birthday card are still yet to be uploaded from Samy. Might take weeks before Darling decides to do so. *heehee* He loved the card I made best. Anyway, the surprise was a success! Making BB smile lits me up instantly. And in the midst of preparing for Darling’s surprise, I didn’t realise those late nights were taking toll on me. Felt ill on the way home and through the next day. *grr* I told BB it might be H1N1 since I was having flu-and-fever-like symptoms. *hahaha*
Picked Darling up from work the next afternoon and caught the much anticipated Transformers: The Rise of the Fallen. It wasn’t exactly mind-blowing, nor was it bad. Not average either. Just seemed to lack something. Megan Fox was foxy as usual. Josh Duhamel was definitely much more handsome than Shia Beouf. But the Transformers were awesome. Cabbed home after the movie for dinner with the Su family. PIL were cooking for Darling and it was Bingru’s book-out day after 2 weeks of “confinement”. I wished I had my way for BB’s birthday night. *boo* Food was good since PIL are good cooks. I’m going to leave you with low resolution and grainy pictures taken with my Nokia.

Finally had BB all to myself on Friday so we went for luxurious seafood at No Signboard. Trust only the outlet at VivoCity since the Boss’ son literally camps there the whole day to monitor the staff and quality of food. Crabs were heavenly and I managed to get chilli sauce flying all over my hands and clothes. *wahahaha* I’m such a klutz and unglam feaster. The scalops were so sweet it sent me to heaven. *slurp* Pricey seafood feast though. Darling bought me Bakerzin pistachio and dark chocolate macaroons for dessert. They are my favourite! I could eat them every day for every meal and never get sick of macaroons. Wish I had some now. *haha* Had drinks at Starbucks, chatted and Twittered. Beaten.
I would be continuing with the weekends escapade later in the day. Am already typing this entry at an unearthly hour of 5.20am. Need some sleep before a long day of tutoring at the North East awaits me. *boo* Need to work for money. And perhaps My Dearest Darling Brandon Baby might have time for a short dinner date with me? *haha* Don’t think so. Want him to rest early tomorrow. Poor BB. Alrightey. Ciao. For now. I’ll be back. *wink*
